Monday, December 19, 2022 –The once-famous music producer Magix Enga alias Beat King has fallen into drug abuse.
He is currently in a worrying health state and in the footage by Nairobi News, the once-popular and highly sought-after city producer in a deplorable state, depressed, disoriented and unkempt.
The said video captures the Watoto na Pombe hit producer, at the Coast seated on a trunk of a tree as he cluelessly ponders his next move.
In the brief video, the talented producer born Njega Chege looks not only dissolutioned but also hungry, confused and broke.
Shortly, a concerned man is seen handing him French fries in a colourless plastic paper bag before seeking to know from the frail barefooted producer what had become of him.
“Hakuna shida,” he responds.
In his October online interview with YouTuber Eve Mungai, Enga revealed how he had started his journey of transformation by doing away with his signature funky look.
Asked why he was shaving the dreads, he quickly accused singers Otile Brown and Arrow Bwoy of abandoning him at the hour of need.
He went ahead to explain that, by shaving his signature dread locks, he was preparing to start life afresh in business and entertainment.
And now from the now-viral clip, nothing in his state is inspiring but rather heartbreaking. This was a young talented fast-rising music producer who was once known for his flamboyant mannerism and great future potential.
