Monday, October 10, 2022 –A section of Kenya Kwanza leaders led by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua yesterday Sunday October 9 converged in Narok County to have their late lunch.
In the photos circulating onlione, President William Ruto’s long time personal Assistant, Farouk Kebet, could be seen sited in the position of the chairman of the meeting as Deputy President Rigathi Gachagu and the rest of the guests sat normal seats around the table.
The photos have elicited mixed reactions from various social media platforms with a larger section of users pointing out that Farouk’s sitting position confirms how powerful he is in William Ruto’s new administration.
“Farouk ndio kusema hapo. Look at where he is sitting,” King Keuya observed.
Luke Mokohongo, on his part, remarked that the ‘big boys’ were having their lunch far away from the people who elected them and who are still hungry and broke to date.
“Having (late) lunch while our people and their animals are dying here in northern part of Kenya….. Late lunch!!!!” reacted one Mukhongo.
Also present in the luncheon was former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro and a handful of others politicians.
