Ruto and his deputy had a chance to buy and eat roasted maize as well as take away potatoes and onions from local traders in an event organized at Green Park Terminus, Nairobi.
However, Kenyans on social media thought this was a well stage-managed affair since the persons who were selling the roasted maize and other commodities were cleaner than how the rest of the traders were putting on.

Prince, on his part, argued that no president on earth can eat maize randomly like a chicken looking for food in the dust.
“You are a genius, no president can eat maize randomly like a chicken..no spontaneous occurrences here ..it’s a script,” Prince argued.
Further, Nostalgic Nairobian noted that the person selling roasted maize to the head of the State and his deputy was wearing an expensive leather jacket worth sh 20,000.
