After unveiling the Building Bridges BBI Report at Bomas of Kenya today Monday October 26, President Uhuru Kenyatta had to first leave the venue as per the protocol.
According to the State protocol, Uhuru was to lead others but on a gentleman’s ground he chose to usher Odinga out in a respectful way after the two had a warm hug.
Next was his Deputy Mr. William Ruto who also followed the two and when the Head of State noticed him, he also showed him the way out but in a different manner. The video which is now trending at number one on all major social media platforms shows Uhuru grab Ruto on the back and quickly directs him to the same exit direction.
However, what is visible to any keen eye is the manner in which that happened. Witty Kenyans on social media led by Citizen Tv’s top reporter Francis Gachuri saw something else, the president had little time for his DP as he allegedly shoved him forward on live camera. You have to be keen to see Ruto’s body swing forward!
“Exit” Gachuri captioned the video and Kenyans reacted in numbers some saying the divorce between Uhuru and Ruto was irreconcilable regardless of how many smiles the two try to display in public. Watch this video till the end. Don’t rush please-
