Kenyans are still reeling in shock after a viral clip hit the internet space showing Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya pronounce an English word ‘onus’ wrongly.

In the viral clip that reached Dundapost.com Gossip desk on Tuesday Sept 1st, Oparanya can be heard shamelessly pronouncing the word ‘onus’ in a strange way that even a class three pupil can never be allowed do that mistake. He calls it ‘Anus’ prompting a loud silence from the audience following the live proceedings.
This has made Kenyans to wonder if the governor really cares about his image or maybe he never was good in English classes.
This has also led to him trending the better part of the week on all major social media platforms in the country as netizens continued to make fun of him.
Oparanaya, in his capacity as the Chairman of Council of Governors, was issuing his official address during the Covid-19 Virtual Conference which was also attended by not only President Uhuru Kenyatta but also leaders from many other foreign countries.
