Just a day after releasing the final Building Bridges initiative BBI Report, it has emerged that what Raila Odinga was speaking about at the launch was ‘past tense’.
Mr. Odinga, in his speech at KICC, he appeared stuck with the old version of BBI Report by saying there was nothing wrong with political parties nominating IEBC commissioners.
Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen was first to claim that Odinga had little knowledge of what was happening behind the curtain and that Kenyatta was pulling surprises against Odinga anytime a BBI event is held.
Raila was still rooting for political parties doing nominations of IEBC commissioners what was no longer in the BBI latest Report.
In the past BBI event held at Bomas of Kenya, DP William Ruto pointed out the anormality saying it would set a bad precedence when just afew parties are allowed to pick persons for the electoral body.
Signature collection is supposed to end in a weeks time then followed by a draft bill setting stage for County Assembly debates which will then culminate into a final referendum.
It is mot likely that Deputy President will be leading the NO team.
