Thursday, March 2, 2023 –A Matatu vehicle is on the spot for dropping primary school learners in the middle of a busy dangerous city highway.
The Thursday March 2 video shows a horrifying scene as the Public Service Vehicle PSV drop the little learners on the highway; who start scampering for safety as vehicles criss-cross the one-way road.
The video was captured on Thika Super Highway which hosts high-speed vehicle both to and from Nairobi Town.
The video shows the students crawl under the road barriers after just being dropped in the middle of the killer highway and this leaves a section of them stranded and crying helplessly.
“Matatu dropping pupils on the highway, at Kahawa Wendani Barracks,” a witness reported on Ma3Route Twitter page that captures accident scenes on major Kenyan highways.
The about five pupils held each other by hand as they matched out of the road while, on the other hand, onlookers watched in total disbelief.
At the same time, the rains were pouring down leaving the children’s lives hanging on a slim thread; hence creating a moment of nerve-racking evening.
Those who have seen the video wondered how the matatu driver would decide to dump small learners on a dangerous city highway as others blamed this on parents.
