Sunday, December 25, 2022 –International footballer Victor Wanyama together with actress wife Serah Ndanu Teshna have wished their fans a Merry Christmas and happy new year.
Taking to their social media platforms, the Kenyan professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Major League Soccer club CF Montréal urged the country to celebrate their holiday and end year in a peaceful environment.
“Wishing everyone a merry Christmas and happy holidays,” he captioned a photo in which he was hanging around with his family.
Wanyama, brother to McDonald Mariga, recently rejoined Harambee Stars national team after the newly-appointed Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba reached out to him with the request.
“I am delighted Victor Wanyama has agreed to return fully to Harambee Stars, rescinding his earlier decision to exit the team,” Namwamba said after their meeting.
Before leaving Harambee Stars for international task, Wanyama was the captain of the team. He would then leave the position to Michael Olunga.
