Thursday, November 17, 2022 –Jubilee Party Secretary General, Jeremiah Kioni, only managed one vote while Raila Odinga’s daughter Winnie got 35 in the race to EALA.
Furthermore, Mombasa Businessman Suleiman Shahbal got 38 votes, Fatuma Gedi managed 31 votes as Kalonzo Musyoka’s son Kennedy Musyoka got 25 votes in the tension-packed voting exercise.
Furthermore, former Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire managed to attract 17 votes while former Kieni Member of Parliament, Kanini Kega clinched 29 votes.
In their rival Kenya Kwanza team, Ex-Mombasa Senator Hassan Omar won with 46 votes, former nominated senator Falhada Dekow got 43 votes as former Nandi Woman Representative Zipporah Kering attracted only 37.
Additionally, former URP Secretary General Fred Muteti scored 39 votes while former nominated MP David ole Sankok had 35 votes.
As the law stipulates, the voting process was in accordance with the Gazette Notice issued by both the Clerks of the National Assemblies.
