NAIROBI’S POLYCARP IGATHE IS WARMING UP to become city’s Governor following his former boss Mike Sonko unceremonious removal from City Hall.
Reports reaching Dundapost.com desk show that a plan is on the way to make sure Polycarp comes back to lead Nairobi County because he is the bona fide Deputy Governor to Mike Sonko who is no longer existing anywhere in leadership.

Through MCA Paul Kados, unknown forces are pushing too hard to make sure Mr. Igathe assumes office left by ex-Governor Mike Sonko.
The plan is to have the corporate guy take over Nairobi City to finish the term they had been sworn in to complete with Sonko.
In this particular petition, the MCA further argued that Mr. Igathe’s resignation was a formation of the media and that no one ever saw the letter he wrote in the regard.
Two other Kenyans Evans and Patrick Mwangi have also added weight to the petition through their separate court papers in which they make similar arguments. They also want the planned February 18 by-election stopped because it is unnecessary when there is a substantive deputy ready to take over that role.
Mr. Igathe quit the Nairobi County deputy role on January 12, 2018 when he had been rejected by Mike Sonko who felt that his position as the county boss was under threat.
Political analysts now claim that the move is a calculated silent weapon against those who wanted to race against Uhuru/Raila candidate.
