Monday, November 28, 2022 –Former President Uhuru Kenyatta is back on Social media years after he left the platforms.
His communication department made an official confirmation that he was back on both Facebook and Twitter social media accounts.
“Whatever you are seeing is his official Facebook account, I cannot comment on the Twitter account because someone is working on it,” the insider confirmed to a local channel.
For instance, on Twitter, Uhuru’s bio runs as the ‘Office of the 3rd Retired President of Kenya’ while its handle is @4thPresidentKE.
On his Facebook account, Mr. Kenyatta had hit 1193 followers while Twitter was at 11K followers with more still coming in.
These accounts do not allow public interactions and engagements since their comment sections are still inactive.
Mr. Kenyatta quit social media in March 22, 2019 despite him being, at that time, the most followed African leader with a huge following of 3.62 million.
