Vocal Raila Odinga’s top ally Junet Mohammed has accused Deputy President William Ruto of sponsoring chaos in the country.
The Suna East MP who was speaking this at Odinga’s Capital Hill offices in Nairobi on Tuesday Sep 8th said DP Ruto was squarely to blame for insults his allies were hurling at the First family and that he now ought to come out and make that clear with straight apologies.
According to Mr. Junet, he was the DP who is behind any word spoken by the likes of Kipchumba Murkomen, Oscar Sudi and others.
“I want to ask the Deputy President to spare this country the politics of war, threats, and violence. It is dishonest and old school for Ruto to send his people to insult other leaders including the President then pretend to tell them to stop.
“You cannot abuse other leaders to gain power including mothers of this country, you have no business abusing Mama Ngina because abusing her is abusing all the mothers of this country,” said Junet.
Also present in this meeting was Orange Democratic Movement ODM boss Raila Odinga who also took issue with those using abusive language to send their message to those they think are not agreeing with their political stand.
He called for the political class to remain cautious with their utterances which he said could again mess this country like it was in 2007/8.
They were saying this even after the DP had, through along tweet, condemned actions from his supporters saying use of abusive language was still unacceptable even in extreme cases when one is feeling aggrieved.
