Wednesday, January 25, 2023 – The late education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha had a Nigerian wife Barbara Odudu Essien Magoha and together got one son, Michael Magoha.
Prof Magoha – Starehe Boys alumnus – and wife Barbara met at the University of Lagos where both were medicine students and decided to settle down in 1982.
Apart from being the Honorary Consular of Mali in Kenya, she is also a lecturer at the University of Nairobi UoN.
Son Dr. Michael also pursued neurosurgery in 2011 and practises the same at the Kenyatta National Hospital.
The late Magoha was pronounced dead on Tuesday January 24 afternoon after developing severe cardiac arrest barely two weeks after being hired by Maseno University as their professor of surgery at the institutions School of Medicine.
