Wednesday, October 26, 2022 –President William Ruto has today gazetted all the 22 Cabinet Minsters approved by the Parliament today.
Ruto made the official appointment today at the Statehouse Nairobi in an event that was attended by all his cabinet members including Rigathi Gachagua alongside Prime Cabinet Minister Musalia Mudavadi.
It is now official that from today Wednesday, the Kenya Kwanza government will be taking their full office responsibilities to address challenges facing the country
President Ruto too appointed Mercy Wanjau to be the Secretary to the Cabinet.
“In the exercise of the powers conferred by Article 156 (2) of the Constitution, I, William Samoei Ruto, the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces, appoint Justin Muturi as the Attorney General, with the effect from October 27,” the notice seen by this writer added.
The Cabinet includes Aden Duale (Defence), Alfred Mutua (Foreign Affairs), Alice Wahome (Water), Kithure Kindiki (Interior), and Njuguna Ndung’u (Treasury).
Furthermore, Davis Chirchir (Energy), Moses Kuria (Trade), Kipchumba Murkomen (Transport), Soipan Tuya (Environment), and Peninah Malonza (Tourism) are part of the team.
Moreover, Zacharia Njeru (Housing), Susan Wafula (Health), Mithika Linturi (Agriculture), Eliud Owalo (ICT), and Ezekiel Machogu (Education) will form part of this new Cabinet.
