Deputy President William Ruto yesterday Friday October 2nd held a nightlong meeting with unlikely politicians.
Reports reaching Dundapost.com news desk indicated that the second in command met with Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana alongside his Turkana counterpart Josephat Nanok in a night meeting held at an anonymous city hotel.

After the meeting, vocal Turkana Governor Nanok said they discussed, among other things, issues to do with national interest and especially matters concerning the youth and their empowerment before they moved on the state of devolution in the country.
It is now very clear that the DP is set to handle the hot 2022 race by marshaling enough support across the country.
Sources from the DP’s circles whispered to us that Ruto is more concerned about attracting powerful people from every corner with their main target being to reach out to the youth whom he believes will make a great force against the dynasties in 2022 Presidential race.
And as the build up to the referendum gathers momentum, further, Ruto wants to be sure of how to counter the pro-BBI proponents ahead of 2022 presidential race that may pit him against strongman Raila Amollo Odinga.
And with the Makueni governor now on board, Ruto might be assured of a chunk of Ukambani votes now that the governor has been performing well on the ground while Kalonzo Musyoka fliplopping despite being the area’s kingpin.
Their meeting is another milestone for the embattled DP William Ruto who is now not wanted by State machinery which has vowed to use all means top stop his Statehouse dream.
Ruto, Kivutha and Nanok converged at undisclosed venue and shared a series photos on their respective social media timelines attracting public attention.
