An inspiring photo has gone viral about a Mombasa based mother who utilized well the little sh 1000 government money given to her during the pandemic.
According to sources, Rose Njeri utilized the Ksh.1000 that was distributed to cushion vulnerable Kenyans during the tough times of the Covid-19 pandemic to start her small egg-selling business.
Tuko.co.ke reported that she started the business by supplying eggs within the outskirts of Likoni in April and currently owns two wholesale shops with a variety of stock worth Ksh. 100,000.
“When the government started sending me Ksh. 1000, I saved up to Ksh. 8000 and bought several trays of eggs. I could supply them across Likoni on foot…Am glad in six months I own a bicycle that I use to supply my products to clients and one employee who is on my payslip.”
This shows how determination coupled by hard work and luck can propel anyone to greater heights.
