Friday, February 3, 2023 –Reggae Disk Jockey DJ Last Born whose real names are Benson Ogweno Ouma has been confirmed dead.
His sister Lillian Anyango told media that on Thursday February 2, she was with the brother and shared a lot together. He was also well and happy.
He would then request to go to bed just after having a family dinner together.
“I was with him on Thursday and we talked about so many things. He seemed so energetic and after having dinner he requested us to take him to bed,” she revealed.
Lastborn twice suffered bouts of stroke in the year 2017 but he has been on a promising recovery journey.
“Ever since he suffered a stroke in 2017 I have been taking care of him and there had been tremendous improvement,” she said.
The DJ, who has produced so many mixed tapes that play on YouTube, matatus and clubs around the country, has been ailing for several years.
He had first severe stroke in 2017 which revisited him in 2019 affecting both his speech and eyesight.
