Dr. MIGUNA MIGUNA HAS SPARKED public reactions following the death of former Kenya’s Chief Justice Evans Gicheru.
Making his condolences on Saturday Dec 26th, the vibrant Canadian based lawyer mentioned Gicheru as a man who can only be remembered by Kenyans for presiding over a mid-night swearing in ceremony of former President Mwai Kibaki.
“Go in Peace, Evan Gicheru. Conmen are hailing you as a man of integrity even though my only memory of you is that DISGRACEFUL swearing-in of Mwai Kibaki at night on December 30, 2007, which SPARKED OFF the 2007/8 POST-ELECTION VIOLENCE in Kenya. Rest in Eternal Shame!” Miguna tweeted.

This is after former premier Raila Odinga himself, while issuing condolences, had hailed the late Gicheru for being a person who ran his job with dedication and integrity.
I remember Rtd Chief Justice Evans Gicheru as a great legal mind and the man on whose shoulders we placed the burden of returning the country to the Rule of Law after the 2002 transition. He did his best under difficult circumstances. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. pic.twitter.com/ck0CW9Fqlu
