Tuesday, October 19, 2022 – Raila Odinga’s last born daughter, Winnie odinga, has reportedly been nominated to the East Africa Legislative Assembly EALA.
Also making it on this list is Orange Democratic Movement ODM gubernatorial candidate for Nyamira County in the August 9 election, Timothy Bosire, who is also on the list of the lucky few.
Inching close to making this confirmation official, Chairman of Raila Odinga Campaign Think Tank Prof Makau Mutua defended the Odinga’s last born daughter for being nominated.
“Those who’ve been attacking @Winnie_Odinga should CEASE and DESIST. She’s a young woman in politics. A man in her shoes wouldn’t be so pilloried. Winnie got talent, but advice and mentorship will be key. Let’s support our young, not “eat” them,” Prof Makau Mutua charged.
But reacting to the news, one Neville Isaboke claimed that Raila’s ODM Party and nepotism cannot be separated.
“So Winnie Odinga has been nominated to EALA by the ODM Party. You might accuse Kenya Kwanza of anything but when it comes to Nepotism, ODM has no equal,” Isaboke observed.
Popular political commentator, Abuga Makori, took to his Twitter page to congratulate the lucky two – Winnie and Bosire.
