Saturday, January 28, 2023 –Azimio la Umoja coalition boss Raila Odinga has renewed his war with the current government for bungling the 2022 election.
Appearing on an interview on Saturday January 28 morning, Odinga asserted that he won the 2022 elections with a whopping 8.1 million votes against William Ruto’s 5.9 million votes.
He also claimed that the whole country including people of Central Kenya voted for him overwhelmingly but agents of impunity decided to declare otherwise.
A visibly agitated Odinga told his host that, as a renowned Pan Africanist, he will stand with what the truth wants and that if stealing elections is bad in developed worlds, it should also be bad in Africa.
“Africa must not be judged with different standards. If something is unacceptable in other worlds it should also not be accepted here.
“William Ruto lost this election and I won,” Odinga said.
He added that Ruto must, therefore, stand with what he has been prophesying about democracy, rule of law and Christianity and leave office so that the right tenant can occupy.
Odinga’s hard-hitting sentiments are coming at the time President William Ruto warned that he will not allow anybody to distract him from performing.
