Orange Democratic Movement ODM boss Raila Odinga has asked young politicians in the country to stop culture of hurling insults at their senior counterparts or risk getting natural curses.
Commending on verbal slur recently made by Emurua Dikir MP Johana Ng’eno, Odinga said it was wrong to rope Uhuru Kenyatta’s mother in matters that Mama Ngina had little knowledge about.

Mr. Odinga said invoking someone’s mother, from time immemorial, was wrong in itself and that is what most Tangatanga leaders have become masters of.
“I talk to him a lot. If you have an issue with your fellow man, there is no need to bring his mother into it. I remember when we were in school, if anyone crossed that unwritten rule, it always ended in a full blown fight,” Odinga said.
He also said even during their days in school, when one mentioned somebody’s mother carelessly, it was chaos.
The ODM Party leader further caused laughter when he talked about having paid school fee for the embattled MP Ng’eno saying it was also important to remind him of that despite the MP lacking manners.
“What Ng’eno forgot to tell you is that I paid for his university education, but I must have forgotten to teach him about manners,” Raila stated, resulting in cheers and laughter.
Mr. Ng’eno has been on the receiving end now for the third week after he made demeaning remarks about the First family and which were directly aimed at Mama Ngina- mother to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Odinga was speaking this in Bomet County’s meeting last Saturday Sep 19 and which was also attended by KNUT Secretary General Wilson Sossion, former Governor Isaac Ruto among many top Rift Valley leaders.
