Thursday, November 17, 2022 –Odinga’s family is over the moon following today’s victory of Winnie Odinga.
Raila Odinga’s son Raila Junior was first to send congratulatory message to the sister Winnie who managed to win the hotly contested East African Legislative Assembly EALA seat.
“Congratulations to my sister Hon. Winnie Irmgard Odinga as the new EALA MP representing Kenya Hongera,” he congratulated.
In the elections, Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka’s children, Winnie Odinga and Kennedy Musyoka, respectively, were lucky to win the seats.
Others are former Mombasa senator, Hassan Omar, David Ole Sankok, Suleiman Shahbal, Kanini Kega, Maina Mwangi, Zipporah Kering and Falhada Iman.
Legislators in both the Senate and National Assembly participated in casting their votes on Thursday, November 17, to elect the nine nominees.
