Wednesday, January 25, 2023 – Azimio la Umoja boss Raila Odinga has visited George Magoha’s family in Nairobi to condole with them.
Mr. Odinga together with a few friends matched into Magoha’s home on Wednesday January 25 afternoon, where they spend time with the bereaved family.
Raila could be seen consoling Dr Barbara Odudu Magoha – wife to Prof Magoha – in their living room as other family members looked on.
“We will remember him for his incredible intellect, wit, and ability to inspire and challenge us to do our best. My condolences go out to his family and colleagues. May he Rest In Eternal Peace,” he stated.
The Azimio boss went on to describe the surgery professor as a transformational, illustrious scholar, dedicated public servant, and distinguished medical doctor who left an indelible mark on nation’s education system.
Magoha had served in Uhuru Kenyatta’s administration as Cabinet Secretary for Education; a position he utilized to reduce examination cheating.
