Rarieda Member of Parliament Otiende Amollo has led a lean delegation of members of parliament to United States of America USA to observe elections.
President Donald Trump is facing off with former Vice President Joe Biden in the hotly contested elections that have seen former President Barrack Obama bounce back to campaign trails.
MPs Jeremiah Kioni from Ndaragwa, Abdi Shurie of Balambala and Senator Fred Outa will be joining observers’ team in the USA elections.
The Star further reported that the delegation will be remaining in the US for a period of not less than five days when the election exercise will be winding up.

Otiende Amollo is currently the National Assembly’s Justice and Legal Affairs Committee Chair who recently took over from a DP William Ruto ally who was removed from the position, while MP Kioni chairs Constitution Implementation Oversight Committee CIC.
This means, therefore, Mr. Otiende and his team will not be attending the Naivasha 2 daylong retreat where President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition Chief Raila Odinga allied politicians are camping since Sunday morning.
“I will not attend the meeting as I have prior commitments,” Kioni told the Star through a phone call last Sunday evening.
Kenya’s Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission IEBC delegation is also in the US to follow the elections whose voter turnout in projected to surpass the 138 million that voted in the 2016 elections.
