A hilarious video has surfaced showing an old Kikuyu woman who had stashed several a thousand notes in her home banker and forgot to surrender to the State in exchange of newly introduced ones.
The old woman who appears to be in her early 70’s can be heard crying and pleading with the government to help exchange the several thousand shillings notes she claims to have forgotten that she had hidden them somewhere in her home.
It is interesting that in this country where many families are suffering from poverty, other families have wealth that they can afford to forget.
That there are people who can afford to forget that they had some money hidden somewhere despite government having carried out enough public sensitizations.
The old woman, in this video recording, can be heard asking someone to take the video so that it can go viral and eventually reach the government for some help.
