Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party has changed tact to be able in succeed in their plans to impeach Governor Okoth Obado in a process scheduled to start next Tuesday.
To push Obado to the wall, ODM top brass has pitched camp in Migori County to whip their MCAs in toeing the party line.
It is claimed that Mr. Obado had used all means possible to make sure his impeachment never sees the light of day before ODM leadership decided to travel down to Migori to oversee the whole process.


ODM kickstarted process to sack Obado after the governor with close family members were accused and charged of mega fraudulent deals in the county where millions were allegedly stolen through their accounts. Close to 73.5 million got lost in this network scam.
On Friday Party’s Chairman John Mbadi led the high voltage delegation which included MP Oduor Ong’wen and several MPs to Migori County where they had to burn midnight oil to make this process a success.
Sources whispered to Dundapost.com that the crisis meetings were held one after another hitting crescendo on Saturday Sept 12th evening in which all party MCA’s were directed to send Governor Okoth Obado home or also face disciplinary consequences.
“The branch delegates and National Executive officials will meet in Migori today (Saturday, September 12)” ODM’s Secretary General Edwin Sifuna wrote to the leadership at Migori County.
Confirming the unfolding, branch Secretary Jossy Olala noted that they had failed to table the motion for the fourth time what informed their Saturdays crisis meeting that will finally culminate in the next Tuesday session to table the motion.
