Thursday, February 2, 2023 –President William Ruto has officially started replacing all Uhuru Kenyatta’s remnant in government.
In a Gazette Notice dated February 1, 2023, the head of State made fresh appointments to replace Board members at the Coast Water Works Development Agency Board CWWDA.
Ruto, therefore, revoked the appointment of Omar Boga as the chairman as well as Hussein Ahmed Farah, Rehana Ismail, Abdul Timimi, and Joseph Charo Kambi who served as members of the board.
“In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 (3) of the State Corporations Act, as read together with section 66 (1) (a) and (b) of the Water Act, I, William Samoei Ruto, President and Commander in-Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces, appoints Daniel Katama Mwaringa, as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Coast Water Works Development Agency,” partly read the Notice.
These appointments were effective from February 1, 2023 and will ruin for a period of one year i.e upto February 25, 2024.
The president listed new replacements immediately and who included Hafswa Abdalla Dele, Judith Wabosha Mwamburi, Mohamed Masoud Mwahima.
