Monday, October 31, 2022 -New Twitter rules will now force those with and who want to acquire the blue tick status to pay a monthly subscription fee.
Twitter Inc has put new plans in place to roll out this exercise before the end of the year.
An international news channel has today Monday October 31 reported that, to acquire the blue tick verification, one will have to subscribe with $25 or sh 2,500 monthly.
Those already with the tick will will have to agree with the new rule or risk losing the verification.
These changes are coming to effect just days after the new owner tycoon, Elon Musk, acquired the giant platform at a whopping sh $44 billion.
