Thursday, December 15, 2022 –President William Ruto had to mention Azimio la Umoja coalition leader in their ongoing US World Leader’s Summit held in Washington Dc.
Yesterday, he told Americans that to prove that Kenya is now a matured democracy, he was attending the same meeting with his main challenger, Raila Odinga.
He proved to the world leaders that, unlike many African countries, today Kenya’s elections take place and end in complete peace.
The head of State who is accompanied by his Chief Minister Musalia Mudavadi among many other State official argued that it couldn’t have been easy and the same with other African nations.
“With Capital, you have a partner in Africa because Africa presents a huge market, labour that is generated by young and innovative youths.
“My competitor who I ran against, who ran against me 2 months ago is in the meeting to demonstrate that we are a Democratic Country,” Ruto said in the Summit.
Delivering his maiden speech that focused on Agriculture as well as Technology in Africa, Ruto also urged the West to feel free investing in the African continent and, in particular Kenya, because of its maturity.
He reaffirmed his commitment to have a strong opposition locally that is going to check on his government excesses.
Ruto and Raila flew to Washington DC this week for the high-powered meeting.
