Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu or Bobi Wine continues to send shivers down spines of the incumbent president Yoweri Museveni and his administration.
In his recent Koboko rally, Mr. Kyagulanyi attracted mammoth crowds which almost symbolized the end of the Museveni regime. Through his Twitter page, he looked overwhelmed and lacked words to perfectly describe what he had seen on the ground.
“Koboko! What can I say? The Main gate to Koboko is broken and wide open. The people are yearning for change. They say they have been betrayed enough and are ready to take a stand. A new Uganda will see Koboko shine like a star!” he tweeted.
Wine who leads the National Unity Platform NUP Party has not once been subjected to brutal force from Yoweri Museveni’s army and in the process his close allies shot dead as some left with fatal injuries.
He has also, not once, been arrested and charged with Treason among many other charges which he is still fighting in court.
In the next elections, his party NUP will definitely be a force to reckon with.
