Sunday, November 27, 2022 –Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has denied claims that he is falling out with his boss, President William Ruto.
Rumour has been rife that Ruto and his deputy Gachagua were already differing on pertinent national matters.
But the DP who was addressing on Sunday November 27 during a church service at CITAM Karen, assured that their friendship with the head of State will remain intact beyond their five year tenure.
“For the avoidance of doubt, the Ruto administration is solid, is focused on service delivery and will not be distracted by propaganda, innuendos that do not make sense,” Gachagua said.
He also took the opportunity to defend their government against accusations that it had become a puppet of both America and Europe.
“While you were away, the media crafted a narrative that William Ruto is a puppet of the West because you are succeeding and the world has accepted you and your leadership.
“We have told them that Ruto has an exclusive mandate from the people of Kenya to engage the West, East, South, North and anybody who means well for this great country,” Gachagua remarked.
Mr. Gachagua neither did not spare the opposition force led by Raila Odinga for defending the ‘Cherera four’ commissioners whom he said should be punished for attempting to overturn the will the people.
