Tuesday, December 20, 2022 –Baby Sagini whose eyes were gouged out by persons believed to be from his own family, is set to be airlifted abroad courtesy of Mike Mbuvi Sonko.
The former Nairobi County boss announced on Monday December 19 evening that he will be facilitating Sagini’s overseas medication in China.
That after conducting an extensive research on what can be done to help the blinded boy, Sonko found out that there is a major surgery hospital in China able to help the young man.
“According to the Chinese doctors the eye implants will intriguingly help the boy with navigation sensors to allow him to get around on his own in familiar places,” Mr. Sonko stated.
Sonko has, therefore, revealed that he had already made a phone call to relevant authorities in Kisii to transfer the young man to a Westlands eye specialist who will then refer them to China for further medication.
Sonko stated that the facility in China was able to help people with major eye complications to move on with their lives.
He defended that his willingness to intervene in these cases is not meant for public relations as some may claim; he clarified that it is purely for making world a safer place for everyone.
So far Baby Sagini’s tormentors are being arrested one after another.
