Tuesday, March 7, 2023 –Former State officer Dr. Fred Matiang’i finally honoured police summons to appear at their headquarters today Tuesday March 7.
The former powerful Cabinet Secretary arrived at the Directorate of Criminal Investigation DCI minutes after 8 AM.
Unbelievably the ex-state official could not be allowed to enter the compound in his cars; he had to park them outside the offices before being allowed in.
He was accompanied by a section of Azimio-allied leaders including ex-Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa. Also in the company of Matiang’i were Nyamira Senator Okong’o Mogeni, Rarieda MP Otiende Amollo and Kisii Senator Richard Onyonka.
Lawyer Danastan Omari was also present among several other top lawyers.
Before making way into the DCI offices, a source told this desk that Lawyer Danstan Omari had to write down full list of every lawyer accompanying Matinag’i before being let in. Video-
