When you mention Leonard Mambo Mbotela; you must also mention KBC or the vice versa.
The veteran media personality is currently admitted at a Nairobi hospital and has called for Kenyans of goodwill to help raise sh 1.1 million to discharge him.


On Friday morning, the ‘Je Huu Ni Ungwana’ program founder said he has an accumulated medical bill which has made it impossible for him to leave the hospital.
He made this public through a letter signed by Human Resource Manager Stephen Mutavi from Nairobi South Hospital in which letter he expounded that that the radio presenter was admitted on October 29th.
The facility now wants a whopping sh 1, 105, 498.78 for Mr. Mbotela to be discharged saying he had tried all means possible but the family could not raise the amount.
“He is due for discharge on Friday 13th November 2020 as per the doctor’s recommendation to continue with home-care treatment,” partly read the letter adding:
“Any assistance given towards offsetting this bill will be highly appreciated.”
Mr. Mbotela joined Voice of Kenya now KBC in 1964 worked, retired and made a comeback again due to his irreplaceable talent.
