Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party leader Raila Odinga has asked all Kenyans not to think he is the only savior for them.
Odinga who has been on the fore front championing for country’s democracy, on Thursday November 12, noted how it was wrong for someone to think that without him, the country will fail to move on saying everyone matters.
According to his sentiments, he was urging all Kenyans to remain steadfast and help push the country forward.
From the rich to the poor, Mr. Odinga said they all deserve to claim their fair share of cake without questioning since everybody pays tax.
He further disclosed how he was very ready to work with ordinary Kenyans so that to steer this nation to the next chapter.
“I refuse to regard myself as some sort of Saint or Savior for this nation. Instead, I wish to be seen as an ordinary citizen willing to work with fellow ordinary citizens rich or poor, young or old, born again or struggling to be worthy of God’s mercy…” Odinga said.
Kenyans immediately took to the comment sections with praises to Mr. Odinga’s style of leadership.
“Fact. Baba is a very humble man, with everything he’s gone through I doubt many would’ve pulled through,” Shupo said.
Kiberenge, on his part, confessed that, with Mr. Raila Odinga, Kenyans will remain inspired and proud forever.
Reuben had a varying opinion on Odinga and said the ODM Party leader now needed a rest from politics more than anything else.
