The donation Deputy President William Ruto offered bodaboda riders from Kitengela Kajiado County has created huge divisions among them.
The operators are reportedly in a disagreement over how the sh 750,000 which the second powerful man in Kenya gave them when they recently paid him a visit at his Karen residence.
According to reports which Dundapost.com Gossip Desk received on Wednesday morning of October 28th, a total of 7,512 registered bodaboda operators are crying foul after being shortchanged by their leaders.
“There was no meeting and consultation about sharing the money and only a committee comprising five members made a decision on behalf of us and divided the money among a few individuals,” a rider by the name of Eric claimed.

The aggrieved riders have since been divided into two rival factions where both claim legitimacy.
During his speech when he was handing over the thousands, Ruto said his main focus was to empower the poor forgotten persons in the society so that they can also move with the rest of the country.
“It is time we give a ladder to the man at the bottom so that we can all be climbing up together.
“It is not a must that the majority must be at the bottom of the pyramid, we can change that pyramid so that we change the status of every Kenyan,” he remarked during the meeting.
He has since started his lethal ‘Hustler Movement’ that he wants to ride on to ascend to power in 2022.
