Senate Majority Whip Irungu Kang’ata has laughed off those claiming that they had stopped the Building Bridges Initiative BBI signature drive delayed.
Speaking about the flying rumours that he was the Deputy President William Ruto who managed to influence the stalemate, Kangata said such talks were null and void as far as he was concerned and must be reduced to not only idle bust also desperate talk.
He said the postponement of signature collection exercise was majorly caused by technical issues such as printing and so on and not what people were alleging from the streets.
“The signature collection phase was delayed because of technical issues, not other ‘exterior’ factors people are citing,” Senator Irungu Kang’ata.

He then added that every Kenyan has a reason to look at the document positively since the BBI Report was introducing more constituencies and resources to each county what has been lacking for a very long time.
Most DP William Ruto allies have been celebrating the postponement of BBI process saying it had hit a dead end what now seems to be not true after Odinga’s return to the country picked from where it had stopped.
