Friday, October 7, 2022 –Lang’ata Member of Parliament Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o has apparently regretted joining Raila’s Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party.
Though he ruled out any possibility of joining the William Ruto-led Kenya Kwanza, Jalang’o’s body language speaks something else.
“Any government needs an opposition, if we all cross over who will do these checks and balances? I will not cross over,” he first stated in an interview.
The first time MP who was saying this during a live Tv interview yesterday Friday October 7 morning, went on to openly confess that he was a personal friend to the new head of State and, therefore, difficult to fight him just because he(Jalango) is in Azimio.
“For now, I’m happy in my party – ODM, I’m happy and contented in Azimio, but that does not change the fact that the president is a personal friend,” he added.
This is after his host sought to understand his future in politics now that Azimio la Unoja coalition had lost the presidency.
Of late, Ruto has been on the charm offensive to woo both independent and Azimio-allied legislators to join his team so that he can have a smooth Cabinet vetting exercise expected to start this week.
