Monday, February 27, 2023 –News on the death of former Vice President Moody Awori have been spreading on major social media platforms the better part of Monday February 27.
This however remained just unconfirmed with bloggers contradicting each other on the issue that left social media divided in between.
Both Facebook and Twitter were awash with Uncle Awuori’s demise but upto the time of going to the press, there was still no reliable confirmation.
“Is it true what I am seeing about uncle Moody Awori? I hope it is not true,” renowned Nairobi blogger Cyprian Nyakundi asked.
It saw NTV put this to propaganda to rest.
“Former VP Moody Awori is alive and kicking, his family has confirmed,” NTV tweeted
Moody, 94, was Kenya’s 9th Vice President and is associated with Prison Reforms. He was picked by Kibaki after the death of Kijana Wamalwa in 2003.
