Suba North Member of Parliament Millie Odhiambo and President Uhuru Kenyatta are now ‘big’ buddies.
On Thursday November 26th evening, the outspoken female MP during a sit down interview with media personality Jackie Maribe, noted that the president was an “extremely friendly guy” who is also quite understanding.
Millie and Uhuru have for a longer time had a frosty relationship especially during the 2017 heated campaigns and elections.
And in a sharp u-turn while sited down with Maribe, she went on to refer to the president as ‘My Darling’ who she said she no longer has any hard feelings against him now that he allowed them to part of his official nation building team.
Millie who was pouring her heart out on Maribe’s new Youtube channel, also added that her friendship with Uhuru Kenyatta is not quiet new since they used to work together in crucial House Committee meetings way back when the president was still the Gatundu legislator.
“For that time, it was okay (the name-calling) but for now, we are buddies and he is extremely a nice guy,” she said.
On Odinga’s 2022 candidature, she promised her willingness to support any other person if her ODM boss will not be part of the race.
She added that even if Odinga will not be running, there is likelihood that both Odinga and Uhuru will field a joint candidate who they must all support.
Millie and Kenyatta tightly embraced each other during the recent Lake Naivasha Building Bridges Initiative retreat.
The two buddies could be seen enjoying warm company and smiled continuously as the president coiled his hand around Millie’s shoulders. Millie on her part was leaning directly on the president’s left side
