POVERTY IS THE BIGGEST CURSE anyone can endure in life no wonder American top Rapper 50 Cents sung the song Get Rich or Die Trying.
Poverty has ravaged Kenya’s villages turning helpless old mothers into constant beggars of anything from politicians who, on the other hand, seize that opportunity to build their name for next elections.
Former Kakamega Senator Dr. Boni Khalwale just like his allies in Tangatanga, was on Saturday captured allegedly dishing out sh 200 note to an 80 year old granny. That is not bad especially in the village where he comes from.
However, what remained questionable was the fact that he had to do that in full view of cameras and infront of a huge crowd. Still he went on to brag about it. What can be embarrassing more than this?
“At a public function in Kakamega today, an 80 year old secret admirer broke through the crowd to say hello. Hustlers for hustlers,” he tweeted.
KOT have since taken to comments section to fault the vocal DP ally who seems to be taking advantage of the poor persons in the society in the name of helping. If at all this was helping why then can’t he do it out of camera?
“200 sh only is what you can give that woman then take a photo to brag on Twitter…….she’s not your admirer the old woman is just trying to survive (handout) like any other ordinary Kenyan,” the Don Duke of Siaya posed.
Here is the photo that has been trending on Twitter showing the politician offer only sh 200 note to the helpless poor granny.
