DEPORTED LAWYER MIGUNA MIGUNA will be vying for Nairobi Gubernatorial seat in the next by-elections to take place in a few days to come.
Through his Twitter handle on Saturday Dec 19th evening, Lawyer Miguna expressed his interest in the race that will pit big shots against each other.
How he is going to conduct his campaigns remains a mystery since he is yet to be allowed back into the country following his bitter blood with the regime.
But according to his post, he is constitutionally viable to run for any elective post and that no one can contest that fact.
“Having received competent legal advice from @waikwawanyoike on Dec. 19, 2020, I, Miguna Miguna, a Kenyan citizen by birth and registered voter in Nairobi, hereby declare my candidature for the position of Governor of Nairobi in the upcoming by-election. Volunteers are welcomed,” he wrote.

Miguna is known to do his thing on major social media platforms and perhaps he wants to use the same style in the last race to reach out to every Nairobian for their support. For instance, on Twitter alone he has over 1.3 million supporters mostly from the city.
A by-election is going to be held in Nairobi county after the impeachment of former Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko was made a success by Nairobi County Assembly members.
Sonko had been accused of integrity issues, lack of commitment to run the county and presiding over major graft during his tenure.
He was also accused of not appointing a deputy and due to that, Nairobi County has since been handed over to County Assembly Speaker Benson Mutura who is also not fit because he has no University papers.
