David Murathe shocked the whole nation after he distanced himself from any corrupt dealings at Kenya Medical Supplies Authority KEMSA and instead mentioned DP William Ruto’s name.
In a bare knuckle attack to the DP whom he termed as the highest priest of Corruption in Kenya, Murathe shifted the blame away from himself to Ruto and his business allies.
The Jubilee Vice Chairman was speaking this on Citizen Tv Tuesday Sept 1st night show where he claimed that the main suspects Kilig Limited are known DP Ruto’s business partners despite reports made to mislead the public that Murahe was behind the company.
“I partnered with the said individual in a lot of issues but I have not partnered with him on this one. I consult with and partner in other matters. He is my family friend and partner from childhood.
“We have the legal transfers, go check the local banks and find out who the account holders of the company are; you will find that they are known partners of DP William Ruto,” Murathe argued.
That he was ready to submit his side of the story once he will be invited by investigating agencies for the purpose adding that he had, however, voluntarily reached out to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation DCI with regard to his name being adversely mentioned in the scam.
This he said was after the President advised that both the DCI and EACC swing into action so as to unearth those behind the KEMSA multimillion saga.
Ruto, on the other hand, answered Murathe saying he(Murathe) will not succeed using DPs office as a scapegoat again in KEMSA saga.
