Saturday, October 29, 2022 –A video showing President William Ruto aboard a military chopper has continued to attract mixed reactions from the public.
In the video shared widely on the internet, Ruto can be seen scrolling his tablet while sited in the Airforce One Chopper.
The video was reportedly recorded by United Democratic Alliance UDA MP for Mwala, Vincent Musyoka.
He would then share it out on his social media pages on Sunday October 23 and the clip got attention of over 2000 views in a record hour.
“It is bad. They are making President Ruto so casual, filming him everywhere is not only a breach of his security details but also a lack of respect,” one Komen Zachariah commented.
But reached for a comment MP Musyoka regretted saying those who were offended by his actions should understand that this was done out of excitement.
“So it was just a bit of excitement because it is not that any other day to be close to the heads of State.
“But of course, if some people feel offended, I would like to express my regrets,” he told a local publication.
He went ahead to confess that several UDA-allied politicians are yet to adjust to the new President’s protocols hence such silly mistakes.
