Newly elected Law Society of Kenya President Nelson Havi continued to receive his fair share of ridicule from Kenyans following his underwhelming protests at Parliament building on Tuesday October 13.
The LSK ‘battalion’ and some members of the United Green Movement Party led by Mr. Nelson Havi held an afternoon protest march to the National Assembly to push for its dissolution, for failure to enact the two thirds gender rule.
First to make fan of Mr. Nelson Havi’s trending photo which showed him busy taking tea alongside his fellow protesters, is Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior who quickly took to his twitter account to term the protest a big joke of 21st Century.
She wondered how a serious protest which millions of Kenyans had banked on could culminate into a ‘tea taking session’ at parliament building today.
Just like Blogger Robert Alai, she said the photo in which Havi is busy holding a cup of tea with some snacks in his other hand had left an egg in his face and the entire LSK body as a whole.
“Let me Laugh teeth and bones,” Wanga tweeted while blogger Robert Alai joined her saying Havi and his team were instead chanting ‘Chai Yetu’ instead of ‘Haki Yetu’.
The debate to dissolve parliament was recently triggered by Chief Justice David Maraga who asked the Head of State to break the house for failing to enact gender rule which was meant to give women more leadership slots in the country. Look at this-
