Monday, October 24, 2022 –Pakistani journalist, Arshad Sharif, was killed by officers on a hot pursuit.
In a report filed at the Magadi Police Station, it is revealed that the slain reporter was shot dead by officers of from the feared GSU.
It is detailed that the GSU officers where in hot pursuit of a reported abduction crime when they mistakenly shot severally at the journalist’s car.
Brother to the diseased, Khurram Ahmed, through the official OB report 14/23/10/2022, said that they were on their way back to Nairobi when this ugly incident took place.
“The deceased and his brother were driving back to Nairobi in their KDG 200M when they found the road blocked using small stones and they decided to pass them.
“It was then they heard gunshots towards their vehicle directed from the front and rear,” partly read the statement with the police.
Following the ambush, the brother would drive to the nearby friend’s home for rescue only to arrive when the brother had succumbed.
