Kenyans must start preparing for reintroduction of strict Covid-19 measures. Council of Governors have made a request to Statehouse.
The CoG today Wednesday November 4th, noted that ‘things’ were getting out of hand and that it was a high time the country is brought to control again.
Speaking at their extra-ordinary meeting held at Statehouse and which was chaired by President Uhuru Kenyatta, governors used the opportunity to ask the State to quickly swing into action before all hell breaks loose.

According to news reaching Dundapost.com, governors want resumption of all containment measures since it had become difficult to take care of victims at the grassroot level.
Oparanya pointed out transport, entertainment and political rallies as some of the sectors that were to blame for the resurgence of the second wave in counties.
“The political class have continued to be the super spreaders of this virus. This has led to an escalation of Covid-19 cases and the collapse of contact tracing efforts,” he mentioned.
The Star reported how Mr. Oparanya, on behalf of all the governors, asked for a revision of the curfew hours back to 9PM for another period of one month as they continue to observe the trend and Covid-19 curve.
He promised Mr. Kenyatta that county governments will, on the other hand, from today embark on handling those not putting on facemasks in the counties. He also addressed the issue of hand washing at market places.
