Monday, January 30, 2023 –Actress Jacky Vike known by her stage name Awinja has landed a job with the William Ruto government.
The former Papa Shirandula actress made a Monday January 30 post saying she had been hired to serve in the Ministry of Health MoH.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the new Brand Ambassador for Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). It was such an honour to get this role during this year’s celebrations.
“Let us get down to work. Thank you, Ministry of Health and AIHD Kenya for the opportunity to serve the community,” she announced during the 2023 World NTDs Day celebrations held at a Nairobi hotel.
The news left her fans happy some saying she has kept her brand intact despite having left Papa Shirandula many years back.
