Former Presidential candidate Mwalimu Abduba Dida has asked Deputy President William Ruto to stop ‘deceit’ through his style of politics.
Deconstructing the DP, Dida held the view that Ruto was full of drama and deception when doing his politics across the country what Kenyans are now becoming impatience with.
The move by Ruto to pretend as supporting the BBI Report and at another point quickly changing tune will lead him to failure because Kenyans are losing trust in such a leader who has no stand.
This comes at a time when the deputy president is yet to declare whether he supports or opposes the Report that was unveiled a week ago at the Bomas of Kenya in Nairobi.
Until now, Ruto has been blowing cold and hot on the whole document with his latest remarks now calling for a review on some clauses he feels are not sufficiently captured.
He has since gone public to state that divisive referendum was not the way to go and therefore need for people to first sit down and iron such contentious issues.
Already his close allies led by Senator Kipchumba Murkomen have gone public to claim that they will not be supporting the Report as it is.
A section of Kenyans, on the other hand, reacted to Dida’s remarks asking him to shut up since he tried running for the top seat and emerged distant sixth.
“Wacha matusi nani! You sold your political ambitions to the dynasties for 30 pieces of silver! Now you are a political reject with nothing to offer Kenyans! And now you rant like a scorned political prostitute! No wonder you are an expert on matters political!” one user responded.
Another user, however, supported Dida’s remarks saying DP Ruto was out to derail a process whose train was half way the journey.
