Tuesday, November 1, 2022 –Mr. Eugene Wamalwa has returned to full-time politics after his stint at the executive ended last month.
The former Defense Cabinet Secretary who is the official patron at Democratic Action Party DAP-Kenya was today Tuesday November 1 received back into his party so that lead from the front.
Making this update on Tuesday morning, the party noted that it was another dawn for their Western Region politics.
“We officially welcome our Patron @EugeneLWamalwa into the political arena after his 10 year stint as a Cabinet Secretary that saw him serve Kenyans in various ministries,” the party stated.
Mr. Wamalwa – a close ally of President Uhuru Kenyatta in the last regime – served in Ministries of Justice, Water, Devolution and Defense.
DAP-Kenya leadership has promised to make an unthought-before headways around Western Region with a plan to take over the region.
“Expect the Leopard to Claw, Capture and Deliver,” the party added.
The party was formed at the height of last campaigns; a party whose formation saw other Western leaders claim that it was a fully-funded State project.
It then led to bad blood among the Western Region bigwigs among them Moses Wetang’ula, Musalia Mudavadi and Eugene Wamalwa.
Wetang’ula and Mudavadi would then switch to Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza as Eugene remained fixed in Azimio where his boss Mr. Kenyatta was the chairman.
